Spring 2013			Our mission is to provide our clients – students, faculty members, and NSU staff – with the tools, the techniques, and the confidence needed to achieve their respective academic goals.  We strive to provide a comfortable environment in which clients and consultants can work together to discuss the nature and presentation of ideas.  The Writing Center thus functions as a literacy instruction site within the academic community and provides support to student writers from all disciplines and with varying abilities.  The basic belief that writing allows people to learn deeply, to think more clearly, and to join the academic conversation serves as the cornerstone of the Writing Center’s operation.
